Connecting with Your Loved One in Our Care

Your support is critical to the recovery and well-being of your loved one in treatment at Mesa Springs. Our patients are cared for by a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, nurses, patient care assistants, and our medical staff. With the approval of your loved one and the Care Team, we welcome you to participate in our family-oriented treatment plan.

Please read the following requirements PRIOR to visiting:

Visitation

• The care team requires all visitors to have the Patient ID number and be listed on the patient’s visitation list for both in-person and virtual visitation. 
• Only TWO (2) visitors may visit a patient per visitation day. If a visitor is between 12 and 17, the second visitor must be at least 18.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you’re checked in prior to visitation start time. NO ENTRY after 10:30 am!
• Belongings drop-off must be done AFTER visitation is over. Please keep belongings in the car during visitation.
• Lockers are not provided for visitation. Please only bring in items that will fit in a 9×12 bag.

Visitation times are listed on the schedule below. A patient’s ability to receive phone calls is dependent on their schedule and phone availability. Please leave your full name, along with the patient code when leaving a voicemail. Messages will be delivered to the patient as soon as possible. 

NOTICE: It is at the discretion of our patients to allow or deny access to information regarding their stay at Mesa Springs. We ask you to please respect their safety and privacy.

Patient belongings

The following items are permitted:

• All current medications (including OTC meds and inhalers).
• Five sets of clothing/underwear/socks
  • No drawstrings, shoestrings or other ties
  • Washers and dryers are available on the unit for washing clothes
• Nightwear/pajamas
• Sweater or jacket 
• A small amount of jewelry
  • Wedding bands, small post earrings, and a necklace
• Only unopened cigarette packs
